Yesterday I shot some photos at DeKalb Animal Hospital in Tucker, GA for their new brochure. I took a few portraits of the Veterinarians and also got some shots of the facilities and the staff at work. It was a fun day of shooting and I think the photos turned out pretty great. I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from the shoot here on my blog:
I posted a few photos from my first visit to the hospital in a previous blog post here. I would highly recommend DeKalb Animal Hospital to anyone for their pet's medical care or for anyone who just needs a safe positive environment to board their pet for any amount of time.

Bringing 'Vacant City' to Atlanta
A couple years ago I started a project while living in Boston. I called it 'Vacant City' and the basic concept was to take urban areas that were normally very busy, hectic, and full of life during the day and photograph them in the early AM when they are vacant and lifeless. It's one of my favorite projects and has gotten a lot of positive feedback so I am planning to continue working with this concept here in Atlanta later this year. It will be interesting to see how the images of the two very different but in a lot of ways very similar cities compare. Below are a few of my favorite images from the series:
